Group Fireworks Display
Event Type : Scout,cub and beaver night
Location : The scout hall
Date : Thursday 3rd november, 7.00 pm
On Thursday 3rd November all beavers, cubs and scouts will be attending the scout firework display. We will have a BBQ for the kids where they will get burgers, hot dogs and warm drinks. We have booked the weather to be dry!!! The children should be at the scout hall for 7.00pm on Thursday and can be collected between 9.00pm and 9.30pm
Race Night 2012
Our race nights are always a fantastic evening, they become more and more popular each year. Details of this years event will be posted shortly.....watch this space!!!!!
Fingland Bothy
Our first weekend away will be our annual bothy trip in February, more details to follow..........
Fundraising
To maintain the level of scouting we offer your children we need to have a huge focus on fundraising. Monthly bills for the hall cost £450. This year we will set out our dates for various fundraising events and inform you of them shortly. A huge thanks to all who helped and supported the Christmas fayre. We managed to raise £829.70. This was a great effort by all leaders & we would like to thank everyone for their donations & all who attended. Recently we where informed that we where successful in obtaining the RBS grant of £6,000.00. Thank you to everyone that took time to vote.
